Cytology

LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFPN) -- Cytology technician Roxanne Toscano loads slide racks into the new computer-enhanced digital imager. The new technology uses computer-assisted imaging and will increase productivity by 65 to 75 percent. It will allow the Air Force to combine the seven current cytology centers into one center here at Wilford Hall Medical Center's 859th Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron.
