Rabid animals

KIRKUK AIR BASE, Iraq (AFPN) -- Tech. Sgt. Stacy Wallett, a Pest Management Technician, assigned to the 506th Expeditionary Civil Engineers Squadron here, deployed from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., secures a cage containing a trapped dog. Rabies has been found in the animal population here and so it is necessary for technicians like Sgt. Wallett to remove stray animals that would otherwise endangered the servicemembers deployed here in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Tech. Sgt. Ken Sloat)
