CUENCA, Ecuador -- U.S. Air Force plastic surgeons prepare 14-year-old Adrian Pauta for cleft lip surgery at the military hospital here. A seven-person plastic surgery team from Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, is providing free corrective surgeries to Ecuadorian civilians as part of a 12-day medical readiness training exercise.
