Airmen make two saves in one day
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Capt. Zach Guza disconnects a cable that straps the blades of a helicopter to the ground. The cables prevent the blades from spinning around and causing problems when the winds pick up. Before every flight, the aircrew works through preflight checklists to make sure they do not end up on the wrong end of a search and rescue mission. Captain Guza is a pilot with the 36th Rescue Flight here. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Nathan Gallahan)
