-130J conducts first-ever combat airdrop

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Army Chief Warrant Officer 2nd Class Eugenia Emmons (right) and Private 1st Class Isiah Rodriguez make final checks on a container delivery system's parachute rigging before loading it onto a C-130J Hercules for airdrop into Afghanistan June 30. The mission was the first-ever combat airdrop for the new J-model transport.
