Through the eyes of a child
TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Gary Wood, a parachute shop fabric worker, helps 12-year-old Taylor Welchel feel the weight of a parachute during a Bring a Child to Tinker event. Taylor, whose dad, Jason Welchel, is a pneudraulics fuel systems mechanic, thought the parachute "felt like a school bag, with a whole lot of books." The event gave employees a chance to show the children their work world through displays, videos and demonstrations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Margo Wright)
