When the smoke clears
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Airman 1st Class James Blum emerges from red smoke on the high crawl obstacle during Brave Defender combat training here recently. During the two-week course, instructors of the 96th Ground Combat Training Squadron here taught 128 Airmen skills they will need when deployed. Airman Blum is from the 75th Security Forces Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Other Airmen were from here, Edwards AFB, Calif.; Hanscom AFB, Mass.; Robins AFB, Ga.; and Tinker AFB, Okla.
