Air Force makes a stable move

DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Crewmembers prepare to unload the last remaining war stable here, the D-Day home for the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, known as the Band of Brothers. The stable, originally located on a farm in south England, was disassembled, palletized and transported to the United States on an Air National Guard C-17 Globemaster III from the 172nd Airlift Wing at Allen C. Thompson Field, Miss. The stable will be transported to Camp Toccoa, Ga., where it will reassembled at a museum there. (U.S. Air Force photo by Don Peek)
