A sweet assignment
MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D -- Elsa Wong sorts cookies during the base's annual cookie drive at the chapel here Dec. 7. Volunteers from the base and local community baked nearly 17,000 cookies for dormitory residents here as part of the drive. Children from the base's two elementary schools made Christmas cards to attach to the plates of goodies. When handed out during the holiday season, each dorm resident will receive about 18 cookies.
