Going to fire
OVER FLORIDA -- An aircrew member flying an F-15 Eagle pulls away from Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., en-route to a live weapons-fire exercise during William Tell 2004 here Nov. 10. Aircrews are judged on their ability to launch missiles at a sub-scale drone. This is the 50th anniversary of the William Tell competition, which tests an aircrew's ability to perform under combat conditions. Two weeks of competition will challenge pilots, weapons loaders and maintainers from five F-15 fighter wings. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Ben Bloker)
