50th anniversary of William Tell kicks off at Tyndall
TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Capt. Chris Jarrett salutes during the opening ceremony of William Tell 2004. This is the 50th anniversary of the competition that tests an aircrew's ability to perform under combat conditions. Two weeks of competition will challenge pilots, weapons loaders and maintainers from five F-15 Eagle fighter squadrons.
