Active-duty, reservists combine forces in Afghan sky

BAGRAM AIR BASE, Afghanistan -- Airman 1st Class Jay Marshall watches as 81st Expeditionary Fighter Squadron A-10s taxi down the runway for takeoff Oct. 13. The fighter squadron here is comprised of A-10 Thunderbolts, operations support technicians and maintainers from Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, and Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans.
