Eagles fly the nest
LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Lt. Col. Stuart Nichols prepares to fly an F-15 Eagle's final mission in the 27th Fighter Squadron. After Oct. 1, the unit will officially begin the migration to become the first operational F/A-22 Raptor squadron by mid-2005. Colonel Nichols is the squadron's commander.
