PIKES PEAK, Colo. - Dr. Ken Kambis (right) removes from the headgear from 1st Lt. Jacki Grant following her VO2 Max ride on the summit here. Dr. Kambis is a scientist working on altitude research study. Lieutenant Grant is one of 18 Airmen living on the summit of Pikes Peak this summer to gauge how the body reacts to living and exercising in a high-alpine environment.
