Phase maintenance

BAGRAM AIR BASE, Afghanistan -- Staff Sgt. Bruce Ginkel applies sealant to an A-10 Thunderbolt II canopy during phase maintenance. The sealant helps maintain cockpit pressurization. Each A-10 here is taken apart after 400 flying hours so maintainers can perform preventative maintenance. Sergeant Ginkel is assigned to the 355th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron here.
