POPE AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Second Lt. Scot Price and Aaron Giachetti struggle to finish a race in their doomed cardboard vessel. The 43rd Contracting Squadron team completed the race in 45.25 seconds. The 743rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Airmen out-paddled 13 other teams to win with a time of 24 seconds, a course record.
