BODEGA BAY, Calif. -- Students from the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer's Academy hike along the Sonoma coastline during their course June 18. The five-week course helps chief petty officers make the transition from E-6 to E-7. The academy reserves 40 slots a year for Air Force senior noncommissioned officers.
