C-5 - helicopter load exercise
A Marine AH-1Z Super Cobra attack helicopter is ready and configured to be test-loaded into a C-5C Galaxy. Airmen from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., and Marines from Camp Pendleton, Calif., came together at Travis AFB April 20 to determine how the helicopter best fit into the cargo bay of the C-5 and how many could be loaded at one time. The goal is to get helicopters into the area of responsibility faster and ultimately into the fight. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lance Cheung)
