Great IDEA
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Staff Sgt. Kevin Jackson (front) and Tech. Sgt. Joe Clinton set up the test booth to prepare for a jet-engine test. Sergeant Jackson earned $10,000 through the Air Force's Innovative Development through Employee Awareness program. He proposed that the hydraulic fluid in certain types of maintenance equipment be changed annually instead of every two months. Both Airmen are assigned to the 3rd Component Maintenance Squadron.
