Practice makes perfect

ROYAL AIR FORCE MILDENHALL, England -- Airman 1st Class Jason Meier uses a structural flush patch as a training tool for countersinking holes. This practice keeps the outer layer of metal on the aircraft aerodynamic and maintains structural integrity by keeping the screws flush. Airman Meier is assigned to the 100th Maintenance Squadron here. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Franklin J. Perkins)
