ROYAL AIR FORCE MILDENHALL, England -- Airman 1st Class Stephanie Ambler squeezes blood into a glass cylinder of copper sulfate solution to test for iron levels during a blood drive here April 13. If blood does not drop to the bottom of the cylinder within 15 seconds, it indicates the donor has an iron deficiency and cannot donate.
