WW II vet receives DFC, Air Medal
LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- First Lt. Ken Kinsinger, a World War II-era B-24 pilot, enjoys a moment with his daughter, Sandy Naber, during a medal presentation ceremony here recently. During the ceremony, Lieutenant Kinsinger received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal he earned in 1944. Like many of the more than 16 million Americans who served in World War II, Lieutenant Kinsinger left post-war military service before his medals were presented. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
