Road trip
Following the completion of flight tests, X-35 Joint Strike Fighter demonstrator aircraft were retired. The X-35A/B is disassembled and placed on a truck headed to the Smithsonian Institute's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. It is on display at the Stephen F. Udvar-Hazy Center near the Dulles International Airport in Virginia. (U.S. Air Force photo/Thomas Powell)
