Attention to orders
ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE, Md. -- The 20th secretary of the Air Force, Dr. James G. Roche, addresses several hundred airmen from across the Air Force. The airmen gathered here to honor and pay tribute to him by inducting him into the Order of the Sword on Sept. 13. The Order of the Sword is the highest honor Air Force noncommissioned officers can give to an individual and is patterned after two orders of chivalry founded during the Middle Ages in Europe.
