LUNGI, Sierra Leone -- Tech. Sgt. Joe Kirsch, a gunner with the 56th Rescue Squadron, Naval Air Station Keflavik, Iceland, mans a GAU-II mini gun in preparation for a mission into the U.S. Embassy. The 398th Air Expeditionary Group is currently in Sierra Leone to provide personnel recovery and emergency evacuation capability for the humanitarian assistance survey team and the fleet antiterrorism security team in Liberia.
