Centennial of Flight

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- Danny Parmer passes a can of lubricant up to Lynn Hunt to loosen bolts on a P-51 Mustang. The aircraft had to be taken apart for transport on a flatbed truck to New York. The P-51 and an F-16 Fighting Falcon will be on display in Rockefeller Plaza until Aug. 18 as part of the Air Force's Centennial of Flight Exposition. Parmer works with All Coast Aircraft Recovery Incorporated while Hunt is an Aero Crafter technical consultant. (U.S. Air Force photo by Bill Plate)
