All-weather rescue
LUNGI, Sierra Leone -- Staff Sgt. Joey Bishop watches intently out an open window as his helicopter refuels after an evacuation mission into the U.S. Embassy in Liberia, July 28, 2003. Bishop is a flight engineer with the 56th Rescue Squadron, Naval Air Station Keflavik, Iceland. The squadron is currently in Sierra Leone to provide personnel recovery and emergency evacuation capability for the Humanitarian Assistance Survey Team and the Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team in Liberia.
