On the cutting edge

TALLIL AIR BASE, Iraq -- Senior Airman Richard Norwood of the 1st Expeditionary Red Horse Group carefully watches the edge of a concrete saw as he and members of his team begin repairs on one of two runways here. Originally built by the French, and then abandoned by the Iraqis after the Gulf War, the runways had succumb to years of neglect. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Master Sgt. Deb Smith)
