Leakenheath tower falling down

Two structures from two different eras sit next to each other near the RAF Lakenheath flightline Feb. 27. The command bunker in the foreground was used by commanders during World War II to defend the airfield against German Paratroopers. The control tower in the background is a relic of the Cold War Era and was used from 1948 through 1992, it's scheduled to be demolished. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Nathan Gallahan)
