Wilford Hall pediatricians in Honduras
Capt. (Dr.) Larrisa Newman measures the mid-upper arm circumference of a child in Honduras June 3 to evaluate for malnutrition. Every four months, teams of U.S. military pediatricians and nutritionists drive and hike to the homes of people living in remote areas of Honduras to screen for malnutrition and anemia as well as provide basic medical care.
