Airmen go from flight operations to the operations table
Staff Sgt. C.J. Cruz-Francois (right) and Senior Airman Nicole Vaughn look into the crib of an Iraqi toddler who suffered electrical burns after chewing through a power cord in his home May 7 at the Air Force Theater Hospital at Balad Air Base, Iraq. The Airmen were exposed to multiple facets of the hospital including the intensive care ward, medical logistics, the physical therapy clinic and laboratory. Sergeant Cruz-Francois is assigned to the 332nd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, and Airman Vaughn is assigned to the 23rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron.
