Manas Airmen tend to children's cancer center needs
Airman 1st Class Adam McDonough plays a game of tumbling towers with Kyrgyz children who are recovering cancer patients Feb. 25 at Kygrystan's only Children's Cancer Hospital. Airman McDonough spent some of his off-duty time with others from Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan, who are members of the Manas Air Base Outreach Society, a private, nonprofit volunteer service organization that works to support a number of causes in the greater Bishkek area and communities near the base. Airman McDonough is assigned to the 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron. He is deployed from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., and is originally from Lake Elsinore, Calif.
