Visionary doctor helps hundreds of Iraqis
Retired Air Force Colonel Stephen Waller, a contract ophthalmologist from Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, checks the prescription of an Iraqi woman here May 20. The doctor came to Iraq to provide eye exams, surgeries and free glasses to hundreds of Iraqis in need. Doctor Waller arrived here May 18 and finished his humanitarian mission four days later.
