Nighttime operations
Senior Airman Alden Gehrt sits in the cockpit of an F-16 Fighting Falcon and Staff Sgt. Tarha Mazyck conduct routine system maintenance before night flying operations during Red Flag 09-3 Feb. 26 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Red Flag is a multinational exercise providing a realistic environment to practice combat scenarios. Airman Gehrt is an avionics apprentice and Sergeant Mazyck is an an avionics craftsman.
