Iraqi air force performs medical evacuation
Staff Sgt. David Hernandez and Tech. Sgt. Joseph Vergona load an Iraqi trauma patient onto an Iraqi air force Huey II May 14 at Balad Air Base, Iraq. The patient was then flown by Iraqi air force members from the Air Force Theater Hospital to U.S. Army's 86th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad. Sergeant Hernandez is deployed from Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass., and Sergeant Vergona is deployed from the Pittsburg International Airport Air Reserve Station, Penn.
