World War II MIAs recovered in Germany
Maj. Gen. Thomas B. Wright hands a folded flag to U.S. Army retired Brig. Gen. Steven R. Hawkins to pay respects to the nine fallen Airmen of the McMurray Crew in the Army Air Corps who are no longer missing in action Feb. 20 at the Henri-Chapelle Cemetery and Memorial in Belgium. The B-24 bomber crew's remains were discovered after more than 60 years in a field southwest of Berlin. General Wright is the operations deputy chief of staff of operations for Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe.
