Tech Sgt. Scott Day, readying a refrigerant reclaiming tank, is participating in the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing's Body Mass Reduction Program at an air base in Southwest Asia. His starting weight was 257 pounds at 72 inches tall, giving him a body mass index of 34.8. He already has reached his initial goal of losing an average of 10 pounds per month and plans to maintain that to bring his BMI below 30.
