Azerbaijani Army 1st Lt. Elmir Mammadov learns how to assemble an expeditionary medical squadron tent during the 2008 Medical Training Exercise in Central and Eastern Europe May 5 at Dijulje Training Base, Croatia. The course is one of 11 courses offered during the exercise. Fifteen nations are participating in the exercise from May 2 through 14. The exercise focuses on mass-casualty training scenarios and humanitarian aid in response to crises situations, and a Joint Chiefs of Staff regional/multilateral exercise sponsored by U.S. European Command.
