Airman 1st Class Adam Baumgardner wraps up a hose after completing advancement and pump training April 29 at Balad Air Base, Iraq. Training on a daily basis helps firefighters stay mission ready at all times. The fire station on Balad AB is composed of both Army and Air Force members who work jointly to respond to fires and emergency situations that allows for seamless coordination of efforts when responding to emergencies.
