Predator takes to the sky

Officials at the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, received a new unmanned MQ-1 Predator and immediately put it to action. The Predator took its maiden flight from the base Feb. 13. The Predator is a remotely piloted plane used for reconnaissance and for strike missions with laser guided missiles if needed.
