C-130 Final Flight
Staff Sgt. Brad Kretschmer, crew chief for C-130 Hercules no. 1847 at an air base in Southwest Asia, finishes his maintenance check after his C-130 completed its final combat mission Jan. 28. After 47 years of service, the aircraft is being retired. Sergeant Kretschmer has been the crew chief for this aircraft for the last three years, and will fly with the aircraft back to Germany.
