Sather medics prepare for worst
Lt. Col. Patricia Hartman rushes through the organized chaos of the trauma room March 21 at Sather Air Base, Iraq, during a training exercise. The exercise is designed to teach medical skills to non-clinical members. In a combat environment, these procedures can be done by anyone with training, leaving the doctors to tend to the seriously injured. Colonel Hartman is the 447th Expeditionary Medical Squadron's chief administrator. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Amanda Callahan)
