Sather medics prepare for worst, provide their best
Tech. Sgt. Jennifer Harman (right) inserts an IV into Master Sgt. Raymond Arbige's arm while being observed by Staff Sgt. Bryan English. Sergeant English, the only medic in the group, is helping the other members of the 447th Expeditionary Medical Squadron to learn basic medical procedures. In a combat environment, these procedures can be done by anyone with training, leaving the doctors to tend to the seriously injured. Sergeant Harman is an administrative specialist and Sergeant Arbige is a medical logistics specialist. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Amanda Callahan)
