AF flies high at Monster Jam
Jesse Barden checks the tire pressure on the Air Force Afterburner monster truck Jan. 11 before the start of the 2009 Monster Jam competition at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The 66" tires require 10-17 pounds of air depending on conditions. Mr. Barden was named the "Crew Chief of the Year" in the Monster Jam Series. Above him, Monster Jam fans watch as Afterburner and 15 other monster trucks are readied to make their entrance into the Alamodome. Approximately 45,000 people attended the event.
