WWII vets fly
Veterans from the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and the 100th Infantry Battalion (seated on the right) get seated and strapped in for along waited incentive flight aboard the "Spirit of Go For Broke," one of Hickam Air Force Base's C-17 Globemaster III aircraft, named in honor of the men and their motto. The soldiers of "Go For Broke" were volunteers of second generation Japanese Americans. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Tom Czerwinski)
