Operation MySpace
Tech. Sgt. Tara O'Brien interviews world renowned comedian Carlos Mencia prior to a live concert March 9 at a U.S. Army camp in the Persian Gulf Region. MySpace, in cooperation with Department of Defense's Armed Forces Entertainment and America Supports You program, brought Operation MySpace to servicemembers headed into and out of Afghanistan and Iraq. This landmark concert, with entertainment acts from Disturbed, Filter, Pussycat Dolls, disc jockey Z-Trip, and host Carlos Mencia, provided a taste of home via the wonder of live music to troops supporting operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Sergeant O'Brien is a Broadcast Journalist for the Combined Air Operations Center and is deployed from Aviano Air Base, Italy. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Patrick Dixon)
