Balad Airmen teach contractors lifesaving skills
Tech. Sgt. Christopher McArdle demonstrates for KBR Theater Transportation Mission Recovery senior mechanics the proper way to wield a circular saw during a refresher training session on using hydraulic tools March 5 at Balad Air Base, Iraq. The class, a first for the Balad AB fire department, marked an important step for the U.S. government contractors to train jointly with Airmen. The TTM Recovery personnel are responsible for retrieving stuck, broken down and destroyed military vehicles throughout Iraq.
