Balad Airmen teach contractors lifesaving skills
Scott Hesse attaches a chain to a test vehicle during a refresher training session on using hydraulic tools March 5 at Balad Air Base, Iraq. The class was led by 332nd Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department Airmen. The class, a first for the Balad AB fire department, marked an important step for the U.S. government contractors to train jointly with Airmen. Mr. Hesse is a a KBR Theater Transportation Mission Recovery senior mechanic.
