Cadets recieve cold-weather training in Alaska
Cadet Master Sgt. Henryk Maldonado works to get a flame going following a fire-bilding class taught Feb. 29 by Staff Sgt. Marc Richard, a survival, evasion, resistance and escape specialist with Det. 1 of the 353rd Combat Training Squadron at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. The SERE specialist briefed the cadets on how to build a fire from natural elements in the surround environment. Cadet Maldonado is from the Eagle River High School.
