Airmen fuel the flight
Airman 1st Class Angelica Gonzalez slows down the flow of fuel at an air base in Southwest Asia. She carefully controls the speed of fuel leaving her fuel truck and entering a KC-135 Stratotanker. Depending on the mission the KC-135 can hold four or five fuel trucks worth of fuel. Airman Gonzalez is a fuels apprentice assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron. She is a native of Scotts Bluff, Neb., and deployed from Kadena Air Base, Japan. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Michael Boquette)
